Description : The initial pages of the document are missing. The document contains correspondence between the Indian Tea Association and the Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industries, and from the Chamber to the Government of Bengal about the law relating Common Carriers. It addresses the amendment of the Bengal Tenancy Act of 1885. Issues of appealate to the civil court, along with goverment directives are there. The document contains the directive to ensure opening of branch register of the company in the colonies as well. Issues like sanitaion in the mines in India as well as others regarding the mining industry were taken up through correpondes between the Government, the Chamber and the Indian Mining Association. Control of animal pests and other contagious diseases affecting livestock are discussed. issues and laws related to the Petroleum Act or the Post Office law, Stamp Law, were addressed. The document also has proceedings and correspondences on the encumbered estates act of Chota Nagpur. The issue of Religious trusts were involved in.Amendments of the Indian Penal Code and the Criminal Procedure Code are dealt with. Under the Marine heading, issues related to Salt, need of light in the Red Sea, movement and susequent delay of steamers at Colombo, inland steam vessels, issues related to Dock and Jetty and other ravine activities. In the Customs sections topics like testing of yarns, levy of import duty on mineral oil, issues related to dyed yarns, steamers used for load carriers, organisation of rules regarding delivery of imports, customs tarrif circulars etc are discussed. In the Municipal section issues related to Building Commission, transmission of heavy vehicles. In the Railways section, issues like processing of mail, proceedings of different railways in the Bengal circle, role of east india railway in coal supply. Other topics like, currency issues is present inthe document. In the miscellaneous section, issues like, the plague, developement of Assam, regulations related to the protection of mills, possession of dynamite, administration of Presidency General Administration, list of holidays,
